At Walnut Hill, two tenting locations are available: the cocktail lawn off the bluestone patio and the evergreen dining grove, where couples can host dinner before moving inside for dancing. Tenting here feels naturally integrated into the estate setting rather than added on.

One important distinction: if you're envisioning outdoor dancing beneath a sailcloth or clear-top tent, Flanagan Farm is the stronger fit. Standard event end time at both venues is 10:30 p.m., with guests departing by 11:00 p.m. Flanagan Farm offers a late-night extension allowing guests to remain on-site until midnight — a detail many couples appreciate if they're envisioning an extended celebration or after-hours gathering. Both venues are also close to Portland for those who want to continue the evening downtown.
